HOLA, I'm Raquel  

I’ve been embodying the power of astrology & mysticism for over fifteen years. What began as a childhood fascination (me watching Walter Mercado every night with my beloved Lita Isabella and scouring every newspaper/gossip magazine I could get my hands on to see what it said about Virgo...) quickly became fluency. My professional journey as an Astrologer started when Jupiter crossed my Ascendant, initiating me into the language of the stars through synchronicity, soul timing, and a profound connection to my ancestral inheritances. 

I come from a line of intuitive, intelligent, resilient ancestors as my Mexican roots stretch into the sacred astronomy and symbolism of the Aztecs. So, in addition to western astrology, I draw upon the Tonalpohualli, the sacred Aztec calendar, to layer planetary cycles with symbolic wisdom rooted in nature, rhythm and empowerment. This is not a borrowed tradition- it's a native language that was passed to me, and I'm here to carry it forward with intention & reverence. 

Just as my Aztec ancestors honored the planet Venus and held her in high regard, she is extremely central to my work- not only as a planet to follow, but as a lifestyle that honors:

Before I ever offered a reading, I spent a decade immersed in deep astrology study, curiosity, and lived experiences all around the world. I read every vintage astrology book I could get my hands on - I even found an original copy of Linda Goodman's Sun Signs from 1968 in Pioneertown, CA at a used book pop-up! I filled journals with personal observations, and asked everyone I met for their Sun, Moon & Rising. I learned the subtle art of astrology in libraries, desert towns, and late-night kitchens with chosen family. I learned through heartbreak, rebirth, and the slow refinement of both inner chaos & the beauty of becoming. Over the years, I’ve studied under and worked alongside some of the most respected names in astrology. With gratitude, I've spoken on panels at astrology summits and I've had the honor of experiencing in-person classes with legendary astrologers who shaped the industry.

I've not just learned astrology, but I continue to live and embody it in real time.

Now, I’m honored to bring it all together through what I call luxury astrology: a space where precision meets aesthetic devotion, where mysticism is matched with magnetism, and where timing becomes art. Where we no longer struggle and instead, pleasure is praised.

Based in Los Angeles, I live and create on land my lineage is woven into. My energy reflects the city’s contrasts: cinematic yet grounded, elegant yet sharply timed. My guidance mirrors that: refined, magnetic, and totally alive with possibility.

My work is known for its emotional intelligence, poetic precision, and lived-in understanding of cosmic wisdom, embodiment, and timing.

Whether I’m writing horoscopes for millions as the lead daily columnist for Astrology.com’s “The Sky Today,” or curating private client experiences, I’m always guiding from one principle: magnetism is not something you learn... it’s something you remember. 

My approach blends modern astrological timing with ancestral insight, aesthetic intelligence, and soft power. I write, speak, and create offerings that serve those ready to embody and live their astrology, not just be told information about it. 

Clients come to me not for answers, but for activation. For a return to elegance. For beauty, wealth and bliss codes hidden in their Venus sign & personal cosmology. For permission to become the version of themselves they’ve always known they were.
