Sagittarius Eclipse: Forward Movement
Today's eclipse opens the Portal of Power and ushers us into undeniable awareness, tests of strength, and deep curiosity as the Wheel of Fortune turns... our shadows dancing with our inner-children, the very core of who we are, shaken, exposed... explored.
For some of us, it's the deepest we've ever gone, or gone in quite some time.
Featuring a square to Jupiter, and Mercury in a funk with Neptune (until June 9th) ... there could be a bit of fog today that centers itself around uncertainty and confusion. Venus, also aspected with Neptune, can create a scene of fantastical and imaginative freedoms, whilst also distorting our lens to a kaleidoscope-like, fisheye view of reality. aka: it can be romantic af, creative af, and also disorienting af.
What we can also see is Saturn and Uranus working together for change that may feel unexpected. Usually longer-term, generational changes. Social changes. With the Nodes of Destiny involved, we must stop to wonder if this eclipse is asking us to ๐ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐ฏ๐จ๐ข๐๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ญ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ .
- Can this energy allow us to be more discerning and aware?
- Might we be willing to release heavy burdens from the last 6 months (and 2012?)
- Are we able to explore all parts of ourselves, including the shadow?
- Will we embrace change and invite in the unknown?
- Might a re-connection to this time-space-reality set us free in the most amazing ways we didn't even know were possible?
- Isn't knowledge power, particularly during a Sagittarius Eclipse?
These are eclipse-y questions that only we as individuals will be able to answer, but those answers are and will always be reflected back to us by what we do (and do not) see happening in the Collective. And maybe that's what this is about:
Forward movement, both personally and collectively. Change that leads to growth... and hey, maybe it does get messy. We'll clean it up... #trust. Let us remember how strong us humans really are sometimes under pressure. And that's what squares are: 90º points of pressure. Activators.
I always think back to the eclipse on August 7, 2017, at 15 degrees and 25 minutes of Aquarius... right in my 2nd house of self-esteem and foundation. I was hunkered down in bed, downing whiskey in the middle of a breakup with my partner of 4 years. My entire world was in shambles as I was moving through a "Tower" moment. At the time, I was in total fear of the unknown and didn't see a possible solution for myself because I was so clouded by heartbreak. Have you ever been so blinded by the concepts of love that you didn't realize how out of alignment the relationship actually was? That was the truth of my then-situation, and that particular breakup, in hindsight, set me free to live the rest of my life. I found myself during a time I had no idea I was lost and living out a path that was not for me. That eclipse energy helped re-route me to what I could not see at the time: the real love of my life, an incredible growth spurt in my business, new levels of self-care and awareness, quitting alcohol, and most importantly... discovering what it truly means to be independent and alive, without expectations. So, how do we expand into eclipse energy? We embrace it. And we simply give ourselves permission to be. We give it alllllll permission to change for us.
