Virgo New Moon Musings & Love Horoscopes

Let's talk about the Virgo New Moon. It's ruled by Mercury in Libra which really inspired me to write some love (and self-love) horoscopes to honor the marrying of Virgo's self-love invitation and Libra's focus on relationships.
This is our only Virgo New Moon of the year and it will definitely highlight Virgo themes and the Virgo part of our natal charts. This is analytical energy that urges us to clean house, literally and figuratively. I don't know about you, but I love tidying things up to make space for new manifestations and energies to come into my life. This New Moon, much like all New Moons, is definitely about creating newness in our lives. But this is general, right? As always, there's more to the story. Let's get more specific, shall we?!
This New Moon at 4º is in a tight square to Mars in Gemini, also at 4º. Mars brings activation, energy, and enthusiasm and in Gemini (also ruled by Mercury) it could have us thinking a lotttttt about what actions we "need" to take. Mars may create some friction that can find us at a crossroads in our relationships and internal energy source because we could feel pressured to do do do, go go go.
Virgo = perfectionist and that energy will be tested and possibly proven to be impossible as we know no one is perfect! In a busy-body world it's easy to fall into the trap of perfectionism because we often times associate it to success, self-esteem, and sustainability. Can we trust that when we focus on our minds, bodies, and souls all will be inherently well and healthy? Relationships will be important this New Moon, including the one we have with ourselves!
